But Grey is touched, and over the objections of her snotty fiance, insist on putting the two up for the night. As they get to know each other, Bill becomes convinced that this is where Curly Sue belongs - in a home, cared for by someone that can give her the advantages that his homeless, nomadic existence lacks. He plans to leave the young girl in the care of Grey and take off…. but Curly Sue has other ideas!

ALSO- why would you give your baby a name like baybi Kaytz and change it later on! That is a Horrible thing to do! I sure hope this is a joke, bc if not, you should really rethink those names!
I will give you the same advice I give all parents seeking baby names: remember that your child has to learn to say it, spell it and teachers will have to pronounce it later in life. Don’t go crazy on uniqueness or your child will be tormented for life (or until 18 when they can legally change it w/o your consent) and hate you for choosing a crappy name that gets them teased.

Stop being lazy–they never tell you how?
I have been struggling with my laziness for years now so I know that this isn’t just a phase. It’s been a real battle and the cause of my failures in life. I am young & attractive but I have been sinking faster than ever since my breakup almost a year ago. Mainly because he was my provider and now I am forced to stand on my own two feet.

I’m in my early 20’s, I’m a college drop out, I dont work and im taking my isolation to a whole new level. I have no desire to talk to my friends and it’s been 39 days since I last left my house. Although I cant afford to pay my bills, I keep ordering stuff online and im now ruining my good credit. Im so lazy that I wont even go to the store and return some of the items that I dont want. I dont have anyone who will help me out and I hate that I’m alone so I dont understand why I’m isolating myself. Im not suicidal but im afraid that if i continue in this manner that I will become that.

I haven’t always been depressed but I have always been lazy. My laziness is the cause of my problems and its ruining my life. I want to go to work & school & I know that my depression will go away when I accomplish these goals.

I beg of you..please tell me…How do I stop being lazy?

you need MOTIVATION. Make some GOALS! Start small and work your way up.
angela | Feb 09, 2010

Get up off the couch and start making something of your life. Nobody really WANTS to work but the people that want to be successful know that its a neccesary part of life. You may have to force yourself to get up and about at first but once your used to being productive and active it will come as second nature and being lazy wont feel right to you
Oreo_Cookie | Feb 09, 2010

You might just be one of those people that does not take well to having nothing to do. Some people are just more likely to be sitting on the couch watching the television the second they’re bored. A lot of people resolve that by having a job, or maybe even two jobs, and taking up a bunch of hobbies.

Get out there, find a job. Talk to people, build connections, try to get student loans and take classes for something you want to do, pay your bills, take up a hobby, take walks outside, get up at a reasonable hour, maybe change your diet, try to spend most of the day doing something active instead of watching the television or going online. Maybe even talk to a counselor. The trick? Don’t just "look into" doing things, actually do them.

Once you aren’t lazy anymore… you won’t even want to be. Until then, you are accomplishing nothing by asking questions like this on the internet.
rermain2 | Feb 09, 2010

 Hello friend!

Well being lazy is something we all feel and are exposed to. It is what I call the "I don’t want to get out of bed syndrome". You know when your alarm goes off and you don’t want to get up because the sheets are juuust right and your are too relaxed and you just can’t bring yourself to get up and go to work even though you need to?

It’s okay that you are going through a funk right now. Most of us go through them all the time. Don’t be fooled by those who lie and say they don’t. They are just hiding it from you.

It sounds like your "failures" have added up to one big "i am not worthy of being happy and sucessful" in life. This is not true. I would advice you sit down and meditate on yourself. What is the most important thing you can do (change that is) to make things a little better? Maybe it could be just looking for a job …just looking..not getting one. The action of finding something…

YOu need to realize that you are very important, smart, and you can handle anything. Take things one step at a time. Heal from your past relationships and problems and know that they are temporary. Someone once told me.. "and the world keeps turning." I would be like WHAT!! HOW IN THE HELL CAN I MAKE IT.. and then I would hear "and the world keeps turning".

You, being the amazing person that you are, need to decide if you want to keep turning with the world.. or not? Do small steps that will make the biggest impact. Consult friends and family for support and learn to treat yourself to a dinner and a movie every now and then.

I hope this helps friend!

You are not lazy. You are sad. You are hurt and disappointed by an unappreciative world that keeps taking you in circles and never to where you aim. There is a sense of futility.

Stop punishing yourself and take a hot bath. Make a deal with yourself.
If I write up a to do list then I make myself a cup of coffee.
If I do the first item on the to do list then I will take myself to a movie.
If I agree to work at a crappy job then I promise to never again forgive someone who is rude to me.
If I consolidate my debt then I promise to myself that I will never let anyone else into my life and ruin what I build.
If I save $xxx.00 dollars then I will get a cat to keep me company.
If I put up with having to give my time to a job I also agree to take myself to Egypt and see the pyramids before three years has past.

If I start being social I promise I will not put up with my friends dumping their shit on me.
The other day i went to the shelter and we found a dog we absolutly love! He is sweet and very fun loving. The only thing that we dont like is that he sheds, alot!!!! What can we do to stop this if we adopt him. This is the only thing thats stopping us. I know we cant stop it, but we can decrease it. What do we do????? Please help

put him/her in a suit so all the hair will go into there not the floor
Haily | Feb 07, 2010

I would just suggest combing him every day
John | Feb 07, 2010

You can’t decrease a dog’s shedding, unless it is due to a medical condition like allergies or severe stress and then you can talk to a vet.

If you want this dog, buy a good vacuum cleaner and commit to regular brushing and grooming. If you cannot handle the hair, do not adopt the dog. It would not be fair to him to be brought back to the shelter just because you can’t handle the fur around your house.
Take time to comb him so that you collect most of the hair then and there instead of hiving it spread all over your house. You could also keep his hair trimmed short, that helps a little. There really isn’t any way to change how much hair an animal loses.
There are special brushes you can get everywhere that have really really close tongs or whatever you call them. that helps get the hair out. the closer they are the better and the less work it takes for you to get all of the loose hair out. Also, shelter dogs tend to be in pretty bad shape because of the stress that they go through from being there. His hair will probably shed less once you comb most of it out and you put him on a good food.
Good luck!

I agree with Sarah!! Has the dog been fixed? Is so the shedding increases because of that too. When you adopt a dog it is a commitment that will last his whole life and you must be ready for that responisibility. It sounds like you are not ready for it since you are already complaining about their hair. You have hair and you shed. Can you live with yourself? To alredy disreguard an animal because of somthing so small is sad. What happens when there is a bigger problem like house training or whenthe dog gets older and can’t hold his bowels any longer what are you going to do then? It sounds to me like you are not ready for this responsibility. I don’t want to sound rude but this is the reason why there are already so many animals in shelters because people don’t understand what it take to raise another creature no matter if it is feline K9 or human. If you are set on him that is great. Just Brush Brush Brush.
rdnk mom | Feb 07, 2010

Almost all dogs shed a lot. It’s something you have to deal with. If you brush him and give him baths a lot, it decreases the amount of hair that gets all over your house. Also, dogs have a lot more hair to shed in the winter. My dog is crazy shedding now, and will through the spring, but in the summer he will no longer have his winter coat and won’t shed quite as much.

If you love the dog, just adopt him. You don’t want to regret it later if you don’t.

Break my credit card cycle?
I am trying, so trying, to do the debt snowball. My snowball seems to roll downhill, while picking up rocks and sticks! I was off work for 4 1/2 years for the first time, late in my life, due to twins. I returned to work 11 months ago, after also having wracked up like $8000 in credit cards, most of which my husband didn’t know about. He knows now and I have paid of about $2400 (2 of 6 cards). A few months ago 2 of these cards were bought out, tripled rates and have like a 30% interest rate! Like I said I am in the debt snowball, but seems slow moving, as some months life happens and I can’t put near as much to a the card I am working on. Any advice for moving faster and how to never do this again. The sickening part is about 10 years ago we did bankruptcy from the same type of spending, but then on both our parts. Although it took me a few years I boarded the same boat, but do not want to keep up this cycle. Any suggestions on how to stop it, I guess besides literally having NO credit cards. I do plan to and will pay these currents cards off, but want to break my cycle.
I would like to add that a second job is not feasible, I work full-time now, still have 3 kids at home, including the now 5 yr old twins and my husband is a long haul truck driver, never home to watch the kids.
Mu hubby also will not allow me to cut out extras such as satellite tv, cell phones (are a must truckdriving).

Firstly I would cut the cards up, so that you can prevent yourself from more spending. If possible try to consolidate all the cards onto something with a lower interest rate, at 30% you will get no where. Have a look at your spending, try to cut out as much as possible where you can, write out a list of needs and wants and stick to the needs only. If you have anything laying around the house that you dont need anymore, sell it. You can even make money selling your kids old clothes on ebay. I know from experience living with kids can stretch the budget, but you just need to knuckle down and get rid of the debts as soon as possible. Have you approached anyone like My Budget and the like to see if they can help? I hope I have given something that may help
Good luck

 becka21au | Jan 30, 2010

Sit down and make a strict budget. Categorize by priority — mortgage/rent, basic utilities; food; car; etc. Eliminate all the extras — cell phone, eating out, new clothes, premium cable and internet, etc. Try carrying a notebook and writing down everything you spend. You’ll be surprised at how much you waste.

Stick to the budget. Take every penny you can squeeze out of the budget and throw it at the highest interest rate credit card, while making minimum payments on the rest (laddering as opposed to snowballing — paying off the smallest balance first). Paying off the highest interest rate cards first will save money on interest and get the debt paid off faster.

Figure out ways to bring in more cash. Have a garage sale, collect alum cans, get a second job. Throw it all at the debt. If you really force yourself to live withing (or below) your means, you have a better chance of not running up huge credit card debt again.

However, if you are one of those people who just can’t use a credit card and pay the balance in full every month, you should get rid of all credit cards and learn to use cash only.
bdancer222 | Jan 30, 2010

The 30% interest rate is a real problem. If self-help resources aren’t working, then you may want to enter into a non profit debt management plan like Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS). They can negotiate reduced interest and payments…with the interest rate down to under 10%. They will require you to stop using all credit and to cut up your cards. Your credit report will be updated to "enrolled in debt management." This does not damage your credit, but it may make it difficult to obtain new credit while you are enrolled in their program….so don’t use this service if you anticipate applying for a new apartment, car loan or mortgage anytime soon, as you would might be denied while you’re enrolled in the CCCS debt management program…You can get a referral at: http://www.nfcc.org

Engagement Ring advertised in Qantas InFlight Magazine?
Hi Everyone,

I flew qantas just a couple of days ago from Rockhampton to Townsville (Queensland, Australia) and in the plane they had a magazine called "InFlight" or something like that. My boyfriend was flicking through and I saw the engagement ring that I want - although he studied the page for a while and I tried to remember the Jeweller’s name, I can’t for the life of me remember it.

All I remember is that, I think the name of the Jeweller’s started with "C" and was based in Melbourne & Sydney. It isn’t "Cerrone" though - I already tried them.

I am pretty sure it was the January 2010 issue of the magazine. Does anyone happen to have a copy of this magazine, or are flying quantas in the near future?

The advertisement takes up a whole page on the right side of the magazine and is of a lady in a very sparkly wedding dress (I think she had short curly blond hair or something) and she was wearing the ring, and then it has a close up of the ring at the bottom of the page along with the website and name of the Jewellers.

The ring is white gold with a large (maybe 2ct) baguette (rectangle) diamond and also had two smaller pink diamonds on the band - further out from the centre diamond.

I would really appreciate if anyone is able to help me find this ring!
Thank you NotSoFar! I have had a look on their website and can’t find that particular ring anywhere But thank you so much!

Do the following activities invite demons?
I’m a Christian going on my seventh year in the faith. During my sixth year, I’ve discovered some things in the Bible that introduce a contradiction and I found a few things that go against what can be seen with an ultrasound machine. Given that they didn’t have ultrasound technology back then, it’s understandable that Jesus and Paul knew no better than to think a seed must die to grow into a plant. Here are the verses. You can look them up if you wish.

I Chronicles 21:1 versus II Samuel 24:1 - two parallel accounts of the terror God waged on the people when David numbered the people. In one, God blames Satan for prompting David to number the people. In the other, God prompts David to number the people.

John 12:24-25: In this verse, Jesus clearly states that a kernel of wheat dies before growing into a plant. He didn’t have an ultrasound machine to prove that hypothesis wrong, so it’s understandable that a human would then teach us falsely based on that hypothesis.

1 Cor 15:36 Paul teaches people here with aggression that a seed does in fact have to die before becoming a plant.

I understand that the Bible has decieved me for the past six years. Where do I go from here? Well, I don’t want to become wicked just in case the Bible is actually true. I’m told to be careful not to invite demons. What does a demon look like? Do any of the following things invite demons?

Reading the Bible
Hearing a Christian sermon
Yoga
Meditation
Breathing
Singing
Walking
Jogging
Looking at the sun with eyes closed
Pilate’s
Tai Chi- I did that before I was Christian– I didn’t sense any demon
Karate
Tai quan doe
Eating + drinking
Seeking the truth
Botany
Arachnology
Astronomy
Quantum physics
High-level mathematics
Listening to Beethoven as my only religion

If you can answer the question, " what brings on demons," how did you get the knowledge behind your answer? How do I detect and remove the demons? How do I avoid the demon? Can I wipe it out before it wipes me out? Thanks for your kindness, mercy and patience.

How do you get over a miscarriage, and stop blaming yourself? I'm so upset…?
I am pretty sure I’m having a miscarriage. I’ve been bleeding heavily (with clots) for two days now. I started getting somewhat painful menstrual like cramping today. I can’t get into my OB, because I am not actually a patient until my registration on the 23. I went to the ER, but they are so busy, there is a 7 hour estimated wait time. I was there for 2 hours with my fiancee. I finally had enough. I’d rather be at home and comfortable than sitting in an ER for hours… It might not have been the smartest thing, but if the cramping gets worse, I’ll go back tomorrow. I had gone to the ER twice in the last week because of spotting, and everything was fine with my baby, and my HCG levels were rising. I just can’t understand how my baby would be able to still be fine, with the amount of bleeding I have had and the size of the clots. I’m crushed. I know its not official yet, but I don’t see how its not. I keep thinking its my fault… I know its not, but it doesn’t make it any easier. I’m scared to try to have another child in the future, if I have to go through something like this agian…. How do you get over it? How do you stop blaming yourself? I"m just so upset, I don’t know what to do….

Firstly you need to remain positive, despite the bleeding you don’t know anything for sure yet, and raised stress levels are not good for your health.

Could you not go back to the ER and wait? I know you said you’d rather be at home comfortable, but surely you need to know how your baby is ASAP, you’re not planning on waiting until the 23rd surely?

If it turns out you have miscarried I’m afraid to say it’s not easy dealing with it, but it is quite common for women to experience a miscarriage before going on to have healthy kids. I’m a true believer that everything happens for a reason, and as long as you have support from your fiance then you will find your way through it, and hopefully go on to try again.

I hope everything works out for you! If you need any advice my email address is stacey.hendry@yahoo.com

I hadn’t read the whole thing and answered, sorry. You should really get checked now. Don’t wait. The bleeding could be nothing. Blood clots aren’t always a sign of danger. Not even big ones. I’ll admit that yes they usually are, but not always. Go back to the hospital and find out what’s going on to be sure. You had me freaked out for you. Go back to the hospital pronto. There’s no need in getting all up in arms and stressing out so bad until you know for sure. That can be very detrimental.
